Shakespear's Early life

William Shakespeare was born in April of 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire. This was an important agricultural center in the 16th century and not to far west of London. It is said that he was born on April 23, also the day he died 52 years later although there's no record of the actual day he was born. He was Baptised a few days later on April 26. William was the third child and the first son of his parents John and Mary Shakespeare. His father was a whittawer, someone that works with leather and became an important person in the government by working his way up from a member of council to the high Bailiff. William's Mother Mary had 7 other children with John Shakespeare. Growing up it is believed that William Shakespeare went to school at a place called Stratford Grammar school, but there isn't any record of it like many things about Shakespeare's life. William got married to Anne Hathaway in 1582 on November 28th. Anne was 8 years older than William and her father was a farmer. The only thing that William Shakespeare left behind for his wife in his will was his second best bed. William and Anne had three children. On May 26th in their first child, Susanna was baptised. Two years after Susanna was born they had twins named Hamnet and Judith. After that there is no record of William Shakespeare's life giving that time the name of "the lost years".
